The 2nd Japan-India Business Webinar titled “Contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) in the Environment, Port and Logistics Areas” was successfully held on 25 February 2022. 「ご発表のあったムンバイ港湾公社のクルーズターミナル開発の状況について教えてください。」
Answer from Mr. Gautam Dey, Traffic Manager, Mumbai Port Trust
The status of Mumbai cruise terminal - cruise terminal construction is in progress. The construction is being done by Mumbai Port Trust directly by appointing a contractor on EPC basis. However the interior and the installation of equipments etc shall be done by the PPP operator who is selected six months ago. It's a company called jm baxi. They will start their work once construction of the building gets over in six to eight months. The work completion by jm baxi and operations in full fledged terminal will be from Feb 2024.

「クルーズターミナルは現在建設中です。建設はムンバイ港湾公社がEPCをベースとし請負業者を直接指名して行っています。内装や機器の設置については、6ヶ月前に選定されたPPP事業者（j m baxi社）が行います。6〜8ヶ月後に建物が建設された後、同社が設置を開始して作業終了後にクルーズターミナルが本格稼動するのは、2024年2月となる予定です。」
