Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity

The project aims to reduce energy consumption and GHG emissions by introducing a total of 5,672 units of high-efficiency LED lighting utilizing wireless network technology in Cambodia, where energy demand has been increasing along with the infrastructure development.
In addition, the use of a smart lighting system with a wireless network further contributes to reducing energy consumption.
The proposed project will contribute to reducing electricity consumption in Cambodia by introducing high efficiency systems, thereby supporting lower operational costs and reduced GHG emissions.

Expected GHG Emission Reductions

559 tCO2-eq./year

= Reference emissions – Project emissions
= 1,272 [tCO2/year] − 713 [tCO2/year]
