Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity
2.5MW high-efficiency rice husk fired cogeneration facility will be installed to generate electricity and steam for parboiling. The generated electricity and steam will be sold to the neighboring rice mill and/or grid. This project can contribute to the improvement of the traditional rice parboiling process, to the efficient rice husk utilisation, and GHG mitigation through substitution of fossil fuel used for private diesel generator at the rice mill and grid power source.
Expected GHG Emission Reductions
10,138tCO2/yr
Case 2 is applied for estimation
← Amount of electricity consumption (to be replaced by the project) x CO2 emission factor
