Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity

A 10 MW solar power system is installed in Mahiyanganaya, Badulla District, Uva Province.

 

This project contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by selling the generated electricity to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and replacing a part of grid electricity derived from fossil fuels with renewable energy, while supporting the implementation of renewable energy policies and the stabilization of power supply.
