Ministry of the Environment (MOE), Japan, announced new projects selected for Subsidy Programme for the JCM Facility Introduction for FY2025 to FY2027 (Third Round).
Following the decision on issuance of credits made at the Seventh Meeting of the Joint Committee of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) between the Kingdom of Thailand and Japan held on October 30, 2025, both governments completed the first international transfer of mitigation outcomes for JCM credits.

The Joint Committee (JC) adopted the decision on approval of a proposed methodology, designation of a TPE, addition of sectoral scopes of the designated TPE and positive evaluation of SDSMRs.
On 26 August 2025, the Cabinet of Thailand approved the International Carbon Credit Guideline, which specifies the types and characteristics of eligible projects under international carbon market mechanism, as well as the procedures for project authorization and the transfer of mitigation outcomes achieved in Thailand.
