Ministry of the Environment (MOE), Japan, announced new projects selected for Subsidy Programme for the JCM Facility Introduction for FY2025 to FY2027 (Tenth and Eleventh rounds).
Following the decision on issuance of credits made by the Joint Committee of the Joint Crediting
Mechanism (JCM) between Mongolia and Japan on June 30, 2026, both governments completed the
first international transfer of mitigation outcomes for JCM credits.

The 8th Joint Committee of the Joint Crediting Mechanism between Mongolia and Japan was held in Ulaanbaatar and online. Achievements of the JC are decision on credit issuance for 4 projects and modification of the bilateral document, as well as authorization of ITMOs.
