Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity

The project involves the development of a 4.9MW run-of-river hydro power plant in Mountain province located in northern Luzon, the Philippines, utilizing an abundant water resources with mountainous topography. The electricity generated by the project will be fed into the grid.
Renewable hydropower development will ensure a stable power supply and improve the local electricity supply and contribute to GHG emissions reduction.

Expected GHG Emission Reductions

13,354 tCO2/year
Reference CO2 emissions: 13,354 tCO2/year
= Electricity generation supplied to the grid (26,708MWh/year)x Grid CO2 emission factor (0.50tCO2/MWh)
Project CO2 emissions: 0 tCO2/year
