A geothermal binary power plant will be developed, with the expectation of power generation of around 200kW, to supply electricity to Tachileik City.
Since all electric power consumed in this area is imported from Thailand, this project is a pioneer of renewable power generation of this area. The success of this project will contribute a great deal to GHG reduction.
