Signed a MOU with the Penang Green Council in Penang, Malaysia

The Global Environment Centre (GEC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 20 May 2026 with the Penang Green Council, a government-linked organization promoting environmental conservation under the Penang State Government of Malaysia, aimed at contributing to environmental conservation and the realisation of a sustainable society.

For over 20 years, GEC has established and maintained partnerships with the Penang State in the areas of environmental improvement, including waste management.
Going forward, to ensure the effective implementation of the agreed collaboration and cooperation areas, we will hold discussions on specific initiatives and promote further collaboration.
