Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity

This project introduces a 3.6MW solar power system with a 15MWh battery storage facility to a beverage plant in Sukabumi Regency. Electricity generated by solar panels during the daytime is mostly stored in battery systems and consumed at the plant during the nighttime.

This project reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by replacing part of the electricity from the fossil fuel-derived grid power with renewable energy.

Expected GHG Emission Reductions

3,085 tCO2-eq./year

= Reference CO2 emissions [tCO2/year]
  – Project CO2 emissions [tCO2/year]

・ Reference CO2 emissions [tCO2/year]
= (Quantity of the electricity generated by the project) [MWh/year] × Emission factor [tCO2/MWh]
・ Project CO2 emissions
  = 0 [tCO2/year]
