Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity

The project introduces a 104 MW ground mount solar power plant with 129 MWh storage battery in Bang Pa-in, Ayutthaya Province. All the electricity generated by the independent solar plant is  consumed by the Bang Pa-In Plant of NMB-Minebea Thai.

This project reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by replacing part of the electricity from the fossil fuel-derived grid power with renewable energy.

Expected GHG Emission Reductions

43,577 tCO2-eq./year

= Reference CO2 emissions [tCO2/year]
  – Project CO2 emissions [tCO2/year]

・ Reference CO2 emissions [tCO2/year]
= (Quantity of the electricity generated by the project) [MWh/year]
   × Emission factor [tCO2/MWh]
・ Project CO2 emissions
  = 0 [tCO2/year]
