Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity

1.5 MW solar power system is installed at a new beverage factory in Tatu City Industrial Park of Kiambu County to supply power to the factory and reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by replacing a part of the electricity consumption from the electricity grid.
This project contributes to the achievement of Kenya’s policy for transitioning to 100% clean energy by 2030.
