Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity

0.9MW rooftop solar power system is installed in all school buildings at CIS in the Diamond Island City in the heart of Phnom Penh, and all net electricity generated is consumed off the grid to substitute grid electricity and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Expected GHG Emission Reductions

462 tCO2-eq./year

= (Reference CO₂ emissions)
– (Project CO₂ emissions)

=〔(Quantity of the electricity generated by the project) [MWh/year] – 0 [MWh/year]〕
× Emission factor [tCO₂ /MWh]
