Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity
A 13.5 MW solar power system is installed in Kebithigollewa, North Central Province.
This project contributes to reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by selling the generated electricity to the national electricity company, as well as strengthening power generation capacity in Sri Lanka which faces serious electricity shortage.
