The UNEP Symposium on Plastic Waste aims at sharing information of the current status of plastic waste issues and expertise on good practices to manage plastic waste in an environmentally sound way. The symposium will produce a message to G20 Osaka Summit (28-29 June 2019) and promote environmentally sound management of plastic wastes. English-Japanese simultaneous interpretation will be provided. The symposium will be organized at the side lines of the IETC Global Dialogue with the Private Sector on Technology Solutions for Holistic Waste Management, which will take place on 21–23 May 2019 in Osaka, Japan.
