The 7th Joint Committee of the Joint Crediting Mechanism between Cambodia and Japan was held in Phnom Penh and online. Achievements of the JC are adoption of revised JCM Rules and Guidelines as well as Rules and Guidelines for REDD-plus and Afforestation/Reforestation, approval of a proposed methodology, no objection to Project Idea Note, issuance of JCM credit and designation of a Third Party Entity.

The 5th Joint Committee of the Joint Crediting Mechanism between Maldives and Japan was held in Male and online. Outcomes of the JC include adoption of revised JCM Rules and Guidelines and designation third party entities. JC also decided to notify both governments of issuance of JCM credits.
