Following the decision on issuance of credits made at the Fifth Meeting of the Joint Committee of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) between Maldives and Japan held on December 16, 2025, both governments completed the first international transfer of mitigation outcomes for JCM credits.

モルディブで JC５が開催
The 5th Joint Committee of the Joint Crediting Mechanism between Maldives and Japan was held in Male and online. Outcomes of the JC include adoption of revised JCM Rules and Guidelines and designation third party entities. JC also decided to notify both governments of issuance of JCM credits.
