CDM/JI Manual for Project Developers and Policy Makers - 2006
The Manual was originally made for Japanese entities conducting Feasibility Studies (FS) for CDM and JI projects. As the CDM-related rules and procedures have been evolving and have become more complex, there has been growing demand for a comprehensive guide for the CDM, both in Annex I and non-Annex I countries.
The Ministry of the Environment, Japan, and GEC responded to this demand by releasing the first version of the CDM Manual in December 2004 that aimed at being a comprehensive guide for a wide range of stakeholders to further promote CDM projects.
In addition to the CDM, JI-related rules and procedures are now rapidly being elaborated under the JI Supervisory Committee (JISC), therefore the Manual updated in 2006 includes JI-related matters.
At the occasion of the COP 12 and the COP/MOP 2, the updated 2006 version of the Manual, including JI-related matters, is released.
