Solar Diesel Abatement Project

Project Owner: (Japan) Ingerosec Corporation
(Kenya) NVI Energy (Kenya) Ltd., Cheli & Peacok Management Ltd., Borana Ranch Ltd.

Outline of GHG Emission Reduction Activity

The objectives of the project are to install solar PV systems in safari camps, and develop the GHG reductions due to the solar PV. The ultimate goal is to use superior solar components that generate electricity to mitigate diesel usage and reduce the GHG emission.

Expected GHG Reductions

405 tCO2/year

  • Reference Emission (REy) - Project Emission (PEy)
    = Emission Reduction (ERy)
  • Reference Emission : 405 tCO2e/year
