Through the introduction of a Waste to Energy plant, the reduction of CH4 emissions from landfill disposal site, and the substitution of the fossil fuel-based electricity will reduce GHG emission, improve electricity shortage and achieve appropriate waste treatment.

  • Reference CO2 emissions: 12,073t-CO2/year
    1) CO2 emissions from exiting Landfill site: 7,496t-CO2/year
    2) Electricity generation supplied to the grid: 4,576t-CO2/year
  • Project CO2 emissions: 7,409t-CO2/year
