Outline of GHG Mitigation Activity

The objective of the project is to reduce grid electricity consumption and contribute to lower greenhouse gas emissions by introduction of the 200kW ultra-lightweight solar power generation system on the rooftop and self-consumption of the generated electricity at the International School in ING City in Phnom Penh. The solar power system adopts the chemically strengthened specialty glass, and makes its weight 50% lighter than conventional type. This system is expected to spread in developing countries since the load bearing capacity of structures is generally not high enough.
